Big Bang Theory, Season 4 Episode 2. (40s)
The equations on the board here are mainly from elementary probability theory. The first equation is Bayes Rule and the second is the Union bound. Near the bottom their appears to be a variance calculation.
Sheldon is apparently trying to work out when he is going to die, so I suppose they are somewhat relevant.
